ADOPT, DON'T SHOP

As a nation of pet lovers we always try to do the best for our furry friends, ensuring they live happy, healthy, long lives as part of our families. But what we often don’t think about when welcoming a new pet into our home is where this animal has come from, its previous experiences, and how many animals are already living in rehoming shelters, looking for a loving family. Please note, there is some imagery within that could cause upset or distress in this project.

Adopt, Don’t Shop looks to inform those looking for a new pet about the potential of milling, farming, and other cruel practices connected with the UK pet trade - and beyond. We also campaign for positive legislation, which can help to cut down gruesome operations, ultimately asking people to adopt a pet over looking to purchase, reducing the number of dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, small furries, reptiles, and birds looking for a home already across this country.
